At SolarSalon we have a variety of tanning program options. You’re sure to find one that best fits your schedule as well as your budget.

Our Standard memberships offer unlimited access, billed on a monthly basis. We also offer a limited membership at a reduced rate which allows 4 tans per month. Membership is a great for consistent usage, and is our most economical option. To pay for any membership, you can choose our automatic credit card billing plan, or for a slightly higher fee, pay month to month in our pay month by month program.

For more sporadic usage, we recommend one of our session packages, with discounts at quantity. These sessions NEVER expire, and can be transferred to friends or visitors.

If all you need is goof base tan for an event or vacation, check out our specialized base tan builder – a combination of short-term membership plus a maintenance session.

Depending on your schedule, you may find it cost-effective to consider our off-peak and morning memberships and packages. Coming in at these times will not only save your money, but help you avoid the primetime crowds, (and you can always upgrade to a regular session for a small fee). If your work and social schedules keep you constantly on the go, we recommend the anytime option for greatest flexibility. Check our hours section for each branch’s schedule

Solar Salon Upper East has Moved!

The big news on the UES is that a large portion of the block at 86th and Lex is soon to be demolished and replaced by a large condo/high -rise. Your favorite salon, caught in the fray, was obliged to find a new home. Luckily, we were able to move to a nearby location on 2nd Avenue between 81st and 82nd â€“ right over the comedy club and across from Sushi Generation.

Our new location is our best yet in many ways. Having recently completed our second Manhattan salon in Chelsea, we incorporated some of the rich aesthetic of the recent build, including dark wood floors, iridescent glass tile, custom designed furniture and over-sized poster boards. We added leather padded walls and a giant logo, and kept the exposed brick wall original to the space. The result is luxurious and warm but still reminiscent of the clean modern look of our Lexington location.

Our equipment is all brand new, fresh off the boat from Germany. (Seriously, some people who visited us on our opening day were the very first to turn on these machines). Both beds and stand-up units are sleek and gorgeous, with a 10 and 9 minute maximum respectively to get you in and out in a jiffy, and wow do they put on the color! All units are now equipped with XM radios with Over 100 stations, so you can enjoy 10 minutes of any-thing from Reggae to Opera while you tan.

Coming soon will be our proprietary check-in-system which is already operating in Chelsea. This system allows clients to check in with the touch of a finger, start their own sessions, track their packages and make purchases, all on our touch screen kiosk. A 42â€ plasma screen indicates when a room is ready and keeps track of the wait list.

All clients, old and new, are invited to come by and check out the new digs, marvel at the beauty and enjoy a free session in a new bed on us. Be sure to let us know what you think of our changes!
